AFSCME letter opposing attacks on federal pay and retirement benefits

AFSCME International  Director of Legislation Chuck Loveless wrote to House-Senate Conferees: I am writing to urge you to oppose any provisions that offset the extension of the payroll tax holiday with cuts to middle class federal employee pay and benefits. We have serious concerns regarding changes to the federal pension system and, in particular, that  have an inequitable impact on federal employees. Click here to read the full letter.
